As we celebrate our fourth birthday at Coastal Loft boutique, we're taking a moment to reflect on how far we've come and the journey that brought us here. ＴＨＥ ＢＥＧＩＮＮＩＮＧ。。。

Our boutique was born out of a real need in our community—for clothes that are both stylishly casual and comfortable, all while being versatile enough to go from desk to dinner with ease. In addition, I wanted clothing options that leaned towards modesty while maintaining a stylish edge, steering clear of the more "youthful" designs. Let's be honest, I may not be a spring chicken anymore, but I've still got plenty of cluck left in me! LOL! With stores and malls falling short of these needs, the idea struck in 2020, a year that reshaped how we think about fashion. As more of us found ourselves working from home, the demand for office wear dipped, but the desire to feel polished and stylish remained strong, even from our home office and living rooms. Transitioning to remote work myself, I struggled to find clothes that were appropriate and comfy for business Zoom calls yet chic enough for post-work plans. Reading between the lines, I wanted to steer clear of old sweatpants and big sloppy tees. Drawing on my early days working in a local boutique, where my love for fashion first blossomed, I envisioned a place where casual meets classy—a space that fills the fashion gap in our area. With the support of my daughter, Paige and daughter-in-law, Micki, Coastal Loft boutique came to life, fueled by a shared love for quality threads and community vibes. Fast forward four years, and here we are, amazed by how much we've grown. From our first sale, each step has shown our commitment to bringing stylish solutions to your wardrobe. But the best part? Seeing you rock our pieces your way—your creativity fuels our fire, and we're here to keep exceeding your style dreams.

This year, we've even expanded our collection to include men's apparel that captures the essence of outdoor living in Sussex County, Delaware—keeping the same top-notch quality and style you've come to expect. Our monthly open houses have become community favorites, where we unveil new arrivals and share exclusive deals. Collaboration has been key to our growth, and we're proud to partner with amazing businesses like Salted Vines Winery, The Salted Rim, DiFebo's Market, Twain and Abel, Millville Vol. Fire Company, Frankford Vol. Fire Company and more, enriching our offerings with unique experiences for you.
